Founder & Scientific DirectorHélène is a Swiss chemist at the University of Geneva, specializing in coordination chemistry and crystallography. Founder of HELNIUM, she pioneered an approach she calls Scientific Design, transforming real molecules, materials and microscopic structures into visual identities and products through chemistry, microscopy and experimentation.
Karl Gaff
Scientific Imaging CollaboratorKarl is an Irish microscopist, science artist and photographer with a Master’s degree in microscopy. Founder of Art of Science Photography, he combines advanced microscopy and experimental imaging to reveal structures normally invisible to the human eye — from biological specimens to crystals, materials and complex chemical systems.
Ali Jamjah
Ali is a chemist and researcher at the University of Geneva specializing in coordination chemistry and functional materials. His work explores how molecular structure, symmetry and metal coordination, including lanthanide systems determine the optical and physical properties of materials.
